Announcement of the 3rd Yamabico Symposium 2020

The Intelligent Robot Laboratory organizes a symposium as part of the Yamabico project. This symposium will provide a forum for reporting and discussing the result of the work in progress and to exchange information on relevant topics. Research Presentation, relevant topics and participants are strongly encouraged to submit.
The symposium will be held as follows.

Proceedings

A private proceedings as an internal document of the project will be made. Prepare your manuscripts to fit into A4 size paper, and not exceed 8 pages. (For connivance of printing, please keep a margin of 20mm from all borders of the page.)

Method of participation

In this year's 3rd Yamabico Symposium, we will hold both on-site and off-site symposiums at the same time considering the impact of the coronavirus(COVID-19).
Due to the status of the new coronavirus infection, off-site participation is recommended.
Off-site participation is encouraged unless there is a special reason to do so.
The infection situation of the novel coronavirus is announced in the table below in the Open Project by Google and Stanford University, as well as by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Ibaraki Prefecture, and Tsukuba City. We hope you will use this information to decide how to participate.

An overview of how the symposium is held

A combination of off-site (remote participation) and on-site (on-site participation) will be used, and the symposium will be presented and attended in the following figure. Details on how to participate are described in the instructions that follow. If you have any questions, please contact the symposium secretaries.

What to prepare on the day

Please prepare a camera, microphone and PC for the online meeting on the day.
There is no ploblem if the camera and microphone are built into the PC.

As part of the University of Tsukuba's policy to prevent the spread of the coronavirus(COVID-19), students, staff are required to carry their health records for the last 14 days with them on campus.
Outside participants are also asked to wear a mask and carry a record of their health observation during the 14 days prior to the day of the event.
